Board Members - Executive Committee - providing strategic direction and oversight:

 President/Chair: Kerry Crofton, PhD is a health educator, founder of Global Health Alliance and author of Less Screen, More Green and A Wellness Guide for The Digital Age. She works with the American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine and developed education programs for the Canadian Heart Association.

 

Vice-President: Victoria Dunckley, MD is a Child, Adolescent and Adult psychiatrist and author of Reset Your Child’s Brain: A Four Week Plan to End Meltdowns, Raise Grades and Boost Social Skills by Reversing the Effects of Electronic Screen Time.

Secretary: Lisa L. Steckler, BA is an Early Childhood Educator trained in the Waldorf approach and taught primary school for many years. Being the mother of two young children, as well as a teacher, she has a special interest in the role of nature and play in the formative years.

John Barnhill, MD, FRCSC is a physician, Board-certified surgeon and humanitarian who has worked around the world with Doctors Without Borders.

 

William Lee Cowden, MD is a Board-certified cardiologist with a special interest in environmental medicine and family health. Dr. Cowden is Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Academy of Comprehensive Integrative Medicine.

Sharon Goldberg, MD is a Board-certified internal medicine physician with a special interest in the links between environmental exposures and chronic illness. Dr. Goldberg is Associate Professor of Medicine, Community Faculty, University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Albuquerque, NM.

Elder Ann LaBillois is Elder in Residence at Dalhousie University and is trained in Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn's mindfulness-based stress reduction. Elder Ann brings Indigenous wisdom and traditional knowledge that provide the basis and inspiration for the Four Pillars of our nature-connection programs.

Tripler Pell, MD, MSc, CCFP practices family medicine and is a Lecturer at the University of Toronto. She is a member of the Collaborative Mental Health Network and speaks to schools, parents, and medical groups on healthy approaches to screen time.

 

Jacqui Reeves is an environmental educator who had worked with The Sierra Club for many years. She leads Forest Schools and outdoor land-based learning programs for youth.

Cris Rowan, B.Sc is an occupational therapist and CEO of Zone’in Programs Inc., which provides programs for on creating and maintaining balance between a healthy lifestyle and technology usage.

Drew Sinatra, ND is a Board-certified Naturopathic Doctor who earned his undergraduate degree in neuroscience and then a master’s degree in acupuncture. Dr. Sinatra is a member of the California Naturopathic Doctors Association (CNDA) and the American College of Nutrition (ACN).

Past Members:

Martin Blank, PhD was a scientist, researcher and professor at Columbia University. He was the author of Overpowered - The Dangers of Electro-magnetic Radiation. Dr. Blank presented scientific evidence of health hazards related to existing standards of exposure to the UN and the Canadian Parliament.

Stephen T. Sinatra, MD, FACC was a Board-certified cardiologist and author of many books on cardiac health. Dr. Sinatra specialized in integrative medicine and was a member of the Board of Scientific Advisors within the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

Panel of Advisors:

Richard Bridge is our legal advisor. He is a lawyer whose primary area of practice is charity and non profit law. His clients are a wide range of charitable organizations, foundations, non-profit organizations and philanthropists across Canada.
